Class 4 MOT Bay Install in Aylesbury
Manny’s MOT is a garage in Aylesbury located very close to Harry’s MOT, and the teams have a great working relationship and often work together. Concept Garage Equipment has worked with Harry’s MOT previously by upgrading their garage equipment. You can read more about this upgrade in our earlier blog post.
Manny’s MOT is a separate garage which faces Harry’s MOT. They saw Concept GE working at Harry’s MOT and approached us to see if an MOT Bay would fit in their garage. One of our expert engineers surveyed the site and found that a Class 4 MOT Bay would fit. Concept carried out the DVSA application, supplied and installed the new MOT equipment, and completed the required groundworks to allow for the installation.
Garage Equipment Installed
Concept GE installed a range of garage equipment in Manny’s MOT’s Class 4 MOT Bay. This included:
- Class 4 MOT ATL ET Lift. This lift has high-speed lifting and state-of-the-art safety detectors.
- 2T Jacking Beam. Jacking beams help further raise vehicles on 4 post lifts and scissor lifts.
- Vteq Headlamp Beam Tester. Headlight beam testers are used to test the intensity, quality and angle of the light produced by vehicle headlights.
- Vteq Roller Brake Tester. This piece of equipment is an essential part of an MOT test, so it needs to accurately test vehicles’ brakes.
- Premier Diagnostics Combined Emissions Unit. Emissions testers are machines responsible for ensuring that vehicles meet emissions standards, making them a key part of MOT testing.
- Tool Board and Tools. These tools can help make MOT tests faster and more efficient.
- Sign Pack and Decelerometer. Decelerometers are used to test a vehicle’s braking efficiency by calculating the rate of deceleration.
