Office Administrator
Company background
Concept Garage equipment is an independently owned business, based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and operate throughout the United Kingdom. We are very successful in the automotive equipment industry and are a fast-growing company with sales increasing month on month.
Employee objectives
You will be required to assist the sales and service team and also the management team with any day-to-day office tasks required. You will help drive sales forward by processing orders from point of sale through to delivery. This will include liaising with customers, contractors and suppliers for delivery dates, and engineer diaries for installation ensuring a seamless transaction for the customer. This role may also include gaining the required documentation and information from the customer to allow us to submit the VT01 application to DVSA on their behalf. You will also require excellent organisational and communication skills.
Job description

Your day-to-day role will include assisting to complete DVSA applications on behalf of the customer and managing project plans and installations. It will also require you to liaise between the customer and our sales team while delivering outstanding customer service along the way. Your role will also include general day-to-day office tasks including filing, stock ordering, managing diaries and telephone answering. Attention to detail and motivation is key in this role.
Responsibilities
- General office tasks such as filing and telephone answering
- Receive and process sales orders online, or via the telephone and email
- Taking telephone calls from sales leads and information gathering to pass to our sales team to follow the lead through to the closure of the sale
- Compile sales reports throughout the month and report at month end
- Compile project plans by discussing the customer’s requirements with suppliers and contractors
- Liaising with customers and gathering information to allow for the submission of the VT01 application to DVSA
- Organising appointments for our sales team that may come in from incoming telephone calls, online, email or from our distributor network
- To be able to work on your own or as part of a team
- As the face of the company, you will be expected to deliver an outstanding level of customer service to every customer
- Be able to understand the customer and react quickly to any issues the customer may have and find a solution to the problem as quickly as possible.
- Be willing to learn new areas of the equipment industry and the processes required
- Work closely with existing and new aftermarket distributors and customers
Your experience
- We don’t require any formal qualifications, knowledge of the equipment industry is not essential as full training will be given
- You will have worked in an office environment in your previous role
- Work with the marketing department on new ideas to generate new business and develop the business
- You will have worked in a role previously that required you to talk to customers either by telephone or face to face
- You will have experience in delivering exceptional customer service
- You will have knowledge of Microsoft Office
This is an office-based role. Concept Garage Equipment are located in Armthorpe, Doncaster.
You must be available for an interview week commencing 15th June at our office.

Garage Equipment Sales Manager

Employee objectives
You will be expected to help drive sales to the next level. This role includes actively seeking and developing new business as well as maintaining our own current customer database. You will be responsible for your own diary and setting your own appointments on a day-to-day basis. Some appointments may be pre-set from leads taken through our office. You will be responsible for qualifying new leads and maximising every opportunity to close a sale. You will be working alongside the director of the business and working together to ensure every customer receives the same level of outstanding customer service as they do now.

We have an industry-leading uncapped bonus scheme which can allow you to earn as much as the effort you put in. You will have a base to work from in our Doncaster office but will be expected to be visiting appointments. You may be required to visit our office from time to time to discuss progress on appointments or opportunities to find the next sale.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for achieving set sales targets and have a reactive and proactive approach to selling a range of garage equipment from socket sets to commercial MOT bays
- Achieve and continually report on agreed-set targets

- You will be expected to follow up on any leads until a sale is confirmed or the enquiry is closed
- Work closely with existing and new aftermarket distributors
Your experience
- We don’t require any formal qualifications, but knowledge of the garage equipment industry is required
- Knowledge of MOT requirements, dimensions and DVSA legislation are beneficial but not essential
- Be able to offer the best options available to each customer based on information gained through the qualification of the lead
- Achieve set agreed targets and report them back to management on a weekly basis
- Provide information weekly on any tasks carried out to find new business and the outcome of any visited appointments
- Be able to provide evidence of your previous sales roles from within the equipment industry proving that you have achieved past set targets
- Be able to deliver outstanding customer service
- Work with the marketing department on new ideas to generate new business and develop the business
- Flexibility and understanding that this is not a 9 to 5 role some days may be an early start and a late finish, but other days may be a late start and an early finish.
Essential requirements
- Full UK Driver’s licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Proven track record in a previous sales role

Garage Equipment Installation and Service Engineer
The role
This is an incredible opportunity to join a growing independent company in the garage equipment supply and service sector. Concept Garage Equipment are recruiting for an installation and service engineer.
This role includes attending customer premises and carrying out the required work. We are looking for a self-motivated person to add to our already growing team and somebody who wants to grow alongside our company. You should be comfortable working independently on your own initiative as well as part of a well organised team.

Skills required
