⭐ Extremely disappointing service – would not recommend

We engaged Concept GE to carry out a site survey for a proposed Class 4 MOT testing lane at our premises, paying almost £200 for the survey.

Unfortunately, the service we received was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

After paying for the survey, we spent over a month chasing the company approximately 10 times for a quotation. During this period, we either received no response or had to make further calls simply to try to obtain the information we had already paid for.

Today, we finally received an email explaining the delay by saying that the receptionist had been on holiday. We then received a generic quotation for a standard Class 4 MOT lane, including a four-post ramp.

The fundamental problem is that our premises do not have sufficient height for a four-post ramp, and we had explained from the outset that our intention was to install a pit lane.

After paying for a site survey, we expected a properly considered proposal based on our actual premises and the requirements we had clearly communicated. Instead, we received a quotation that appears to have overlooked some of the most basic information provided.

The combination of poor communication, repeated chasing, lengthy delays and an unsuitable quotation has left us thoroughly dissatisfied.

In our opinion, the almost £200 charged for the survey has delivered very little value.

Based on our experience, we would not use Concept GE again and would advise other businesses to establish exactly what they will receive for their survey fee before committing.

Fantastic service from start to finish! We recently collected a lift and were really impressed by the help and professionalism of the two gentlemen who assisted us. They were brilliant and went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back—likely for a second lift and potentially to get our current van kitted out with a mobile tyre fitting setup. ⭐ 1 Star — Not recommended

Very disappointing experience with Concept Garages.

* Staff disappearing and emails/calls regularly going unanswered.
* MOT layout supplied was against basic DVSA requirements.
* Equipment delivery took around 2 months despite being promised within 2 weeks when payment was taken.
* Work was carried out by contractors, with poor communication and no clear accountability.
* MOT approval process has taken an extremely long time.
* No responsibility taken for incorrect installation or calibration.
* Shannon disappeared, Gary disappeared, and the owner, Andy, has refused to take responsibility.
* Andy repeatedly talks about having 30 years’ experience, yet the MOT layout supplied was fundamentally wrong and has cost me around £20,000 in additional costs.
* More than 6 months later, my MOT station still has not started.

Had a issue with a lift dez came round
Knew exactly what he was doing popped out to get a new pipe made and was back with in the hour to fit it and sorted the ramp
