M-Trac Cymru is a garage based in Pen Llystyn, Bryncir near Porthmadog in Wales, and owned by Medwyn Ellis.

Until now they have focused on working with agricultural machinery including tractors for local farmers, contractors and caravan parks. They were keen to do additional work on Class 4 (cars) and Class 7 (trucks) including performing MOT tests, so a Class 7 MOT Bay was needed.

They contacted Concept and had the site measured up. Following DVSA approval, they had a full Class 7 MOT Bay and all equipment supplied and installed. This includes:

Class 7 MOT Bay installation for M Trac Cymru Bryncir Wales

Shufix Garage is a garage based in Uxbridge, West London. The garage is relatively new and is due to open in a few weeks under the watchful eye of owner Shaful Miah.

The garage will be doing Class 4 MOT testing and vehicle servicing work for all all makes and models, but is based in quite a narrow unit and the owner wanted to make the best use of the space whilst upgrading to a Class 4 MOT Bay.

Having assessed and measured up the available space, Concept were able to advise that the addition of a drive-through Class 4 MOT Bay could work well, and with the addition of a extra 2 post lift to the rear of the unit it would make the best use of the space available, and maximise the amount of cars that could be worked on.

As well as measuring up, and creating a detailed CAD site plan, we also worked closely with Shaful to get his VT01 documentation prepared and signed off by DVSA.

Once approved the MOT equipment was delivered and installed by our expert engineers.

As seen in the video, the unit was transformed into a fully functioning MOT Bay with a 4 Post Lift for MOT testing, and subsequently we added a 2 Post Lift at the end of the workshop for additional service work, making great use of the space available, whilst being fully compliant with all DVSA regulations.

Class 4 MOT Bay Installation at Shufix Garage Uxbridge

We were approached by a customer in North Yorkshire to ask if we were able to supply and install a 2 post lift in his home garage for his own use.

Surprisingly it's not unusual for this kind of installation, and assuming the garage has enough space and roof height for the lift to fit, as well as suitably deep concrete, power and access to deliver and install the equipment (which in this instance was a challenge!) then it's usually no problem.

We would always recommend a conversation and site visit by one of our experts to check the measurements and ensure everything is going to fit, be supported and work well before committing to the purchase.

Cubitt Cars is a car sales company based in Bingley, West Yorkshire that specialises in prestige car sales.

Cubitt Cars in Bingley started trading cars from a driveway in 2010.

4 Post Lift Installation for prestige car stacking at Cubitt Cars in Bingley

Pheonix RC, part of Fenghuang Autos is a specialist in prestige and supercar sales based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

They were keen to expand the business from simply car sales to service and repair of vehicles too.
