Class 4 MOT Bay Install in Bradford
WW MOT Station in Bradford started as a valeting and detailing company. They also own a few cars, such as a Rolls Royce which they hire out.
They decided to change the business direction and go into MOT and repairs. That’s when they approached Concept GE for help and advice in installing new MOT bay equipment. One of our expert engineers visited the site and advised the best layout, which at the time was questioned. WW MOT Station had one supplier come out who told them it just didn’t fit and couldn’t be an MOT test station, but Concept GE went to the garage and found that a side-by-side bay would be the perfect fit. Leading to the successful installation of a Class 4 MOT Bay.
MOT Bay Equipment Installation
WW MOT Station chose a range of quality garage equipment to help improve their offerings. This included:
- A Eurotek UF40PD 4 Post Lift, which will allow WW MOT Station’s mechanics to easily access the underside of vehicles, to successfully service and repair vehicles.
- A Vteq Headlamp Beam Tester, which is used to test the intensity, quality and angle of the light produced by vehicle headlights.
- A roller brake tester, which is used to check the performance of a vehicle’s brakes.
- An MOT Tools and Ancillary Pack. This included a MOT Convex Mirror for workshop viewing and for safety.
As always, Concept GE did the DVSA application and installation and are now signed off, allowing WW MOT Station to benefit from the revenue from the MOT bay and the repairs that follow.
