2 Post Lift Install for Greentec Autos

At Concept Garage Equipment, we regularly support garages with professional installations, even when the equipment hasn’t been purchased directly from us. One of our recent projects took us to Greentec Autos in Manchester to install a customer-owned 2 post lift.

The Installation Brief

The customer required the lift to be installed in an agreed position within their workshop, ensuring it met all safety and manufacturer requirements. As the 2 post lift requires an overhead gantry, additional access equipment was needed to allow our engineers to work safely at height.

Ahead of the installation, a Site Readiness Form was issued and followed up to confirm access arrangements. The customer confirmed that a scissor lift would be available on site prior to our engineers attending, allowing the installation to proceed as planned.

The 2 Post Lift Install

Our experienced engineers attended the site to carry out the installation. Greentec Autos had a Twinbusch TW242PEB4.3 2 post lift that they needed installed. We positioned the lift as agreed with the customer and secured it using M16 floor bolts torqued to 120Nm. Extended floor plates were fitted at the customer’s request to provide additional support where required.

2 Post Lift Testing

Once installed, the lift was tested with a vehicle to confirm correct operation and alignment. Following successful testing, the electrical supply was safely disconnected and installation was formally handed over to the customer. The 2 post lift was left ready for final connection and day-to-day workshop use.
