2 Post Lift Install for Pure Auto Solutions

About the Customer

Pure Auto Solutions is a well-established automotive workshop based in St Helens, providing professional vehicle servicing and repairs. We worked closely with Pure Auto Solutions to ensure the reconfiguration of the workshop improved efficiency while maintaining safe working conditions.

The Project

This project involved dismantling existing two post lifts to create space for the installation of a new Concept C52E lift. Once repositioned, selected equipment was reinstalled where appropriate, allowing the workshop to continue making use of viable assetts while upgrading its core lifting capability. Our engineers removed three lifts from the workshop, two of these became scrap, while one lift was reinstalled once the workshop layout had been adjusted to accommodate the new equipment.

Throughout the process, safety and efficiency remained a priority, ensuring the site was left organised and ready for continued operation.

Careful Planning and Preparation

Careful planning ensured the project ran smoothly from start to finish. Delivery and attendance dates were confirmed in advance, with all required documentation issued and approved ahead of the installation.

Equipment collection and delivery were coordinated to align with on-site works, helping to keep disruption to a minimum.

Garage Equipment Assessment

As part of the dismantling process, an existing lift was assessed. The inspection identified that the lift required new ropes and had a suspected slave post ram seal issue. Due to its age and the extent of the repairs required, the lift was deemed not economical to repair. This transparent assessment allowed the customer to make an informed decision and avoid unnecessary future costs.
