We are really proud to announce that Concept Garage Equipment is teaming up with Blake Angliss to support his long-awaited return to motorsport racing this week in the Ginetta GT Championship at Silverstone (01-04 June).
Blake re-joins the racing grid from this Thursday 1st June 2023 for the 2023 GT Championship, the crown jewel of this year’s Ginetta calendar, the inaugural G Fest event at the Home of British Motor Racing.
Angliss has linked up with Breakell Racing to race a brand-new Ginetta G56 GTP car, which he will drive for the first time in pre-event practice on Thursday. The car will have the traditional, eye-catching blue and dayglow yellow Angliss livery, as he raced with in the Ginetta GT4 SuperCup in 2021.
Concept Garage Equipment is delighted to have our logos proudly displayed on Angliss’ Ginetta car as Blake competes in six races across three days at Silverstone. The races will be streamed live and free online via Ginetta’s official YouTube channel.
Who is Blake Angliss?
Blake Angliss is a talented and determined young racing driver who has held a passion for motorsport since his 11th birthday when he began his career in karting. Having huge success and being awarded trophies such as the Junior IAME X30 PFi Plate and Classic Cup back in 2019, following a brief pause during Covid, he moved to race in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge, recording a pair of impressive top-six finishes. Since then Blake has moved into Ginetta GT4 SuperCup – the most popular race package in the UK, and he’s eyeing opportunities in the British GT Championship!
