Approved Engines Ltd specialise in vehicle engine repairs, rebuilds and refurbs. Founded by highly experienced engine technicians Dan Baker and Adam Culwick in 2022 they have continually built relationships with some of the biggest engine suppliers in the UK and grown organically over the years since formation becoming The UK’s largest supplier of Ford engines & parts.
Due to the company’s growth, the business needed to move to a larger unit, and this new one is roughly 8 times the size of their original site! As part of the move, they approached Concept Garage Equipment to quote for a Class 4 and Class 7 MOT Bay, as well as some smaller 2-post lifts, to be able to handle their growing capacity of work both now and into the future.
After we visited the site to measure up a CAD Drawing and Site Plan was drawn up, and the first phase of the project could start.
This initial phase was to mark out the location for the upcoming MOT Bay, and to install 3 x UT40E 3 Phase 2 Post Lifts with 3 stage arms, as well as 1x UT50E 3 Phase 2 Post Van Lift.
We had 2 lift engineers on site for the day to get these initial lifts up and running, and Dan and Adam are looking forward to the rest of the MOT bay equipment being installed in 2 weeks time.
