We spend a lot of our time in garages and MOT bays up and down the UK, fitting, repairing and servicing garage equipment, but occasionally we get an opportunity to install some vehicle lifting equipment in an unusual location, we’ve done some home garage lift installations as well as some non-garage related industry installs too, but this was a new one – a food delivery service!
Established in 2020, The Food Hub have a large location in Weston Super Mare, and as you can imagine, a growing fleet of vehicles to ensure the food they prepare is delivered fast and fresh.
To ensure their vehicles are kept in great condition, the team needed a 4 Post Service Lift, to enable them to carry out some essential service and maintenance work.
For this, they decided on the Low Profile Eurotek 5.7 metre 4 post car lift, which has a five-tonne lifting capacity and comes complete with an adjustable platform for both wider and narrower vehicles, rear slip plates and front infill plates.
The customer also decided on a Jacking Beam to go with the 4-post lift for ease of access to the wheels, steering and suspension whilst the vehicle is on the lift.
The position of this garage lift was agreed with the owners, and our engineers set to work with the installation. The lift operation was tested following the lift install to ensure that the team were all set to use it right away!
