Class 7 MOT Pit Package Install for A1 MOT Station

Concept Garage Equipment recently completed a full Class 7 MOT Pit Package installation for A1 MOT Station site in Manchester.

This project helped to create a fully equipped MOT testing lane, combining brake testing, emissions analysis, headlamp alignment, and essential workshop ancillaries into one complete setup.

MOT Equipment Installed

The installation was designed to deliver a fully compliant, efficient MOT testing environment capable of handling Class 7 vehicles. The system integrates all core testing equipment required for a modern MOT station, ensuring accuracy, reliability and smooth workflow.

Equipment installed:

• Brake Testing System. A fully automated brake tester was installed to deliver fast and accurate performance results. The system provides reliable testing for MOT standards and supports high-volume workshop use.
• Emissions Testing System. An advanced emissions testing unit was installed, combining gas analysis and smoke measurement in one integrated system. With a digital control platform and streamlined testing process, it enables quick and efficient MOT emissions checks.
• Headlamp Beam Tester. A headlamp beam tester was installed to ensure vehicles meet strict MOT lighting standards, supporting accurate inspection and compliance.
• MOT Ancillary Equipment. The site was also fitted with essential MOT ancillary items, including signage, notice boards, tool storage and workshop accessories to complete the MOT station setup.

Project Outcome

Our engineer Mike carried out full installation and system setup across all equipment, ensuring everything was correctly fitted, tested, and commissioned for operational use.

The installation delivered a complete MOT station solution, providing A1 MOT Station with the core infrastructure needed to operate efficiently and meet Class 7 testing requirements. The site is now equipped with modern, integrated MOT technology ready for daily use.
