Professional Vehicle Lift Installation in Scotland

A New Addition to Strathearn Engineering

At Concept Garage Equipment, we are passionate about helping customers create practical, well-equipped spaces for working on vehicles. Our latest installation took us to Strathearn Engineering in Aberuthven, Scotland, where a 2 post lift was supplied and installed to support Scotland’s leading independent Range Rover specialist.

For this project, the customer selected our 2 Post Lift 4 Tonne C42E with Automatic Release, a versatile lifting solution designed to bring greater accessibility and convenience to a garage workshop.

The Equipment: 4 Tonne C42E 2 Post Lift

The 4 Tonne C42E is designed to make vehicle lifting straightforward and efficient.

Featuring an automatic release system, it offers convenient operation while providing the lifting capacity needed for a wide range of vehicles. Having reliable access beneath a vehicle can make routine maintenance, inspections and restoration work much easier.

The lift was delivered to site ahead of the scheduled installation, with our team coordinating delivery and installation arrangements to ensure everything was ready.

Preparing for Installation

Before installation, the customer was provided with site preparation guidance, including electrical requirements and concrete checks.

A drill hole test was required to establish the floor depth around the proposed post positions, with a minimum concrete depth of six inches specified for this installation.

Getting the foundations right is an important part of any 2 post lift installation. You can read more in our guide: How Thick Should Concrete Be for a Car Lift?.
