A.A Tyre’s and Auto Centre are an independent newly formed garage based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Business partners Amjad and Amer a very well-known and widely respected by the local community, having worked locally for most of their careers in the motor trade. They decided that it was time to join forces and build their own business and team offering everything under one roof for all makes and models of motor vehicles. They offer everything from general repairs and maintenance to diagnostics, aircon re-gas, and now MOT.
Amjad and Amer purchased the business after it had been closed down by the previous owner. The garage formally known as Malcolm Taylor (Halifax) Ltd has now been brought back to life with an immense effort by Amjad and Amer.
Why did A A tyres and Auto Care choose Concept Garage Equipment?
Being new to owning and running a garage both Amjad and Amer contacted Concept garage equipment after a recommendation by one of their current suppliers. The purchase of the business came with a class IV pit layout MOT bay. All the equipment for the MOT bay was there but wasn’t up to date. Amjad and Amer weren’t quite sure what they needed to do to get the MOT bay up and running, and what equipment was ok and what wasn’t. Concept GE attended the garage and gave all the advice and assistance they needed. Amjad and Amer decided to use Concept GE to get the bay back up to current DVSA requirements.
Concept G E Ltd completed the required DVSA MOT application forms for A.A Tyres & Autocentre LTD, following which we supplied the garage with
– a new state-of-the-art emissions tester unit supplied by Premier Diagnostics and
– a roller brake tester (RBT) supplied by Vteq.
The new installation was carried out by TCS Garage Equipment LTD who installed the equipment and gave all the training the garage needed to get their bay making money.
