Concept Garage Equipment is running new Level 3 MOT Management qualification courses in the following areas soon:
Essex, West Midlands (Dudley area), Bury, Manchester, North Wales and the North East of England.
Before you make a decision on whether or not you are interested in this course in any of these areas, please take a moment to read on and find out more information!
If you want to be an Authorised Examiner (AE), an AE Principal (for example, a director or partner in an MOT business) or an AEDM, then you must have these qualifications.
If you are an Authorised Examiner and there have been no changes to your business, or you or its predecessor were given approval before 1995, then you do not need to participate in this course, as it has already been completed.
Therefore, if you have been an AE and/or AEDM for a while and the business has remained the same, then you do not have to take this course.
However, if you are from an MOT station as above and you wish to change the AEDM or there has been a significant change of directors, then the AEDM and possibly an AE Principal (if not already the AEDM) will have to attend a course.
If it is in your thoughts to alter the constitution of the business or to alter directors or partners, then an AEDM and potentially an AE Principal (if not already the AEDM) must attend this course.
If you are contemplating changing the AEDM at your site, either due to retirement or passing the business to a family member for example, then the new AEDM will be required to hold the necessary qualifications and attend the related course.
