This Hofmann Megaplan megaspin 120 wheel balancing machine is a handspun wheel balancer, that is both compact and highly functional, being the first manual spin wheel balancer to include fully automatic (3D) data input, and is available in either 240v 1 phase, or a 12v version for mobile tyre fitting.
This premium compact wheel balancer from industry experts Hofmann Megaplan is a manual spin wheel balancer packed with features. Whilst the manual handspin keeps the cost down, the I.W.A. (Intelligent Width Assessment) software combines the traditional 2D input for the diameter and distance via the measuring arm, whilst the software calculates the width using the wheel mass and typical rim data collated from thousands of assemblies, giving the full 3D data input in this small but powerful wheel balancing machine.
Whilst the megaspin 120 was developed predominantly with the mobile tyre fitter in mind, the ‘handspin’ philosophy should never be ruled out for any garage, workshop or MOT Bay, regardless of volume or application. This model is capable of handling wheels up to 30” and 75kg in weight and giving you a bundle of advanced features such as the ability to split the weights behind the spokes.
